So without further ado, Goddess Within is pleased and proud to present an online sampling of works by Hope Rickert of Hopeful Creations, and Matthew "Cat" Orifice and Lisa Souder-Prescott of Seraphic Wood and Steel.
Rowann met Cat and Lisa through a local witchy group at a bi-weekly meeting years ago. Cat was sitting directly across from Ro and both stared at the other, realizing that each were old souls and not of the usual Witchy 101 crowd one might expect to find at such gatherings. Once having met, they realized they had found in the other a soul-sibling. Cat is truly a modern-day Renaissance man, and Lisa is his partner in all things, through thick and thin....a beautiful, intelligent, magickal, mother of two, who keeps Cat grounded. I simply cannot say enough about this wonderful couple....Together they make up the musical duo, Project Wendigo...(they have two CDs recorded and available for purchase...ask about them!). Rowann's been privileged to share the stage with them on occasion, sharing percussion duties with Lisa, while providing back up vocals. Cat and Lisa founded Seraphic Wood and Steel in 2011. They have gained many satisfied customers and we wish then continued success!
Hope Rickert was introduced to Rowann at a Beltane festival by Cat and Lisa who are well aware of Rowann penchant for Light Work. Shy, unsure but very curious, Hope kept to herself and Rowann instinctively recognizing that she'd met a fellow-Light-worker stayed in the background knowing that Hope would eventually seek her out. Being a mother of three teenage boys kept her insanely busy and to help keep her sanity in check, she returned to sewing, a pastime that was a long-lost love. Hope's talents are truly a sight to behold. Her garments are gorgeous and will surely provide many seasons of enjoyment. As a result of her passion for sewing, Hope founded Hopeful Creations in 2011. We know that she will continue to be successful in her endeavors!
